Riser is the father of Una, and also of one of the most winning females in the US: WINTUK's IDITAROD DREAM'N "POWDER". A picture of Powder can be seen below this text .
Sharon in Kennel Wintuk made evident her capacity and dedication to the breed by going through all the demanding steps for shipping frozen semen to Norway, and also by being open and honest about Riser and his get. Riser didn't let the opportunity slip away - even though he was collected only once, his semen has to date produced three litters in Norway and Sweden, altogether 21 puppies, and I still have semen left for future great litters. Thank you Sharon and Larry!
Five out of the seven pups have been shown - very, very limited - and four of them have received Champion points, several BOB, BOS, and also BIG. The two not shown to date have at least the same quality in my opinion.
Also, Riser's pups seem to have very good social intelligence - they are steady and easy to handle in all kind of situations - and great pack dogs!
