Una is a result of non-surgical insemination with frozen semen I imported from Kennel Wintuk in the USA. Kennel Wintuk has bred Alaskan Malamutes for years, but have had few litters. They show and work their dogs. The last two years, their female Wintuk's Iditarod Dream'n "Powder" has been one of the top winning females in shows in the US. She is a half sister to Una.
Una is very steady and doesn't easily get upset. She is easy to show because she is so level-headed - she doesn't stress nor worry. She is not particulary interested in fighting, but knows the tricks if she gets too annoyed. She and Pia and Nayak eat out of the same food at the same time without a growl.
Una has a light, balanced, clean, and effortless gait and can run at a high pace over long distances. She prefers lead position together with Tuuq.
